Heather grew up with a love of baking, creating confections for her family for special occasions, but she never imagined it would one day become her career.

While working as an event coordinator on the East Coast, she was introduced to the world of sugar flowers and knew she had to learn the craft for herself. She studied under world-renowned artist and cake designer Maggie Austin, at first creating sugar flowers only as a side hobby. However, during the pandemic, when large events halted but people still wanted beautiful cakes for their small celebrations, Heather decided to switch gears and start making cakes full-time.

She worked at one of the top wedding cake bakeries in Austin, Texas for a couple of years before returning to her beautiful hometown of Santa Barbara to start her own cake business. With her artistic eye and attention to detail, Heather is passionate about creating delicious and luxurious works of art for life’s special occasions. Her cakes have been featured in bridal magazines and she has been named one of Santa Barbara’s top wedding cake designers for multiple years in a row.
